How to Sign Fillable Adobe Forms

Digital Signature:

This can only be completed on a computer.

  1. Follow directions in the signature box to configure your digital signature.
  2. Select “Save As” and save the file to your computer using the following naming conventions:
  • Student Agreement_last name_major
  • Offer Letter_last name_company_semester_major
  • SCPD_last name_company_semester_major
  • Contract_last name_company_semester_major_Student ID#
  • Evaluation_last name_company_semester_major
  • Final Report_last name_company_semester_major

Electronic Signature:

For Computer:

  1. From email, click on the attachment to open the PDF
  2. The form should look as shown below with a symbol for different functions across the top. The highlighted icon is the signature pen:
  3. Click on the signature pen and follow the prompts to create a facsimile of your own signature. Click ‘Add Signature’
    1. Option 1: Type your name for the computer to create a signature for you
    2. Option 2: Draw your signature using your mouse
    3. Save this signature (you can modify it at any time). It should be there for you every time you receive a PDF
    4. Click Apply and move your signature to the appropriate Student Signature area/box

iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open email on iPhone/iPad
  2. Email attachments should appear toward bottom of screen after body of the message
  3. Click on the document you want to sign
  4. Use pen icon in top right corner (see highlight below) to sign name on document in correct area/box.
  5. Click ‘Done’ on top left corner and select ‘New Message” to create a new email with the attached document signed.
