Company: Delta Air Lines
I am part of Deltas Network planning and scheduling department, but I am specifically on the Schedule Integrity team. I have responsibility of the HUB Salt Lake City and have my own regional airline to take care of, which is SkyWest. Through the month I work on (currently working on Novembers schedule) I will balance, fund, and sequence a schedule. I will also make sure the correct aircraft are scheduled to the proper airport keeping in mind block times, airport banks, minimum ground time, as well as any maintenance requirements. I also get to number flights for our main lines as well as our regional carriers!

I am a Key Account Management Intern. My job was to meet the requirements for all the Key Account team members for various internal team meetings or external meetings with customers. The photo is me (left one) and my boss Janet (middle one in blue), who is Head of Key Account Management Asia Pacific, together with other three colleagues in Singapore. It was my first business trip from Beijing to Singapore, which gave me chance to meet with colleagues in Lufthansa Cargo from other team, and from different countries.

Company: United Airlines
I recently got an opportunity to meet and speak with Mr. Jeff Smisek — the President and CEO of United Airlines — and thought I would share the picture. It was an amazing experience, as in most companies it is very difficult to ever meet the CEO, as they are very seclusive. However, Jeff made time to meet his employees and also answered some of the merger questions I had, and was very interested to know which university I represented. I was a Financial Analyst Intern-TechOps Division in Chicago, Illinois.
