In my freshman year, I needed a résumé review for class. I went to Career Services for help, and I remember feeling welcome. They also had many other resources. I applied for a Student Assistant position, and fortunately I was accepted. Now I can help others the same way I was helped.
Advice from Career Services significantly improved my résumé technique. Being Student Ambassador and Student Assistant for Career Services was vital in improving my communication and networking skills. They also helped me land a great internship. I can’t emphasize enough how grateful I am.
I used to think there aren’t enough opportunities for international students like me, but that’s not true. Career Services is so welcoming and open to students. They taught me to use resources on campus and apply them to my life. There are many opportunities waiting for you if you just reach out.
Career Services provided invaluable guidance throughout my collegiate career. Practice interviews and résumé reviews prepared me to approach aerospace industry employers, and on-campus opportunities helped strengthen my skills to become a stronger candidate.
